Tax Collection Information

2023 Winter Tax Bills
Beginning December 5th, 2023 Winter Property Tax payments will be collected at the Rollin Township Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 pm until 7 pm. After hours, you may place your payment in our locked drop-box located under the flag pole by the front door of the Township Hall. If paying by mail, please send your tax coupon and payment to:

If you wish to have a receipt, please enclose a self-addressed and stamped envelope. 

Last day to pay in person for the 2023 calendar year will be Thursday 12/28/23 11am-7pm.

Per State Treasury, Winter Tax Payments are due February 14, 2024, but will be accepted at the Township through 2/29/24 with special office hours from 11am to 7pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024 before going delinquent.
Postmarks after February 14th will no longer be honored.

Payments mailed on or after March 1st cannot be accepted by Rollin Township. Please call the Lenawee County Treasurer's Office at (517) 264-4554 to obtain your new tax amount. Payments will be mailed to:

Dog license payments need to be on a separate check from taxes. They are available for purchase at the township hall starting December 1st through October 31st of the following year. Dog licenses are considered late starting March 1st and prices will be doubled.

Please examine your tax bill carefully. Note: A penalty exists for claiming a Principal Residence Exemption if you are NOT entitled to the exemption.



2023 Summer Tax Bills
Property owners received 2023 Summer Tax Bills on or about July 1st. Rollin Township Treasurer will collect these payments at the Rollin Township Hall during the following times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. between July 6th and September 14th, with special hours on Thursday, September 14th, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. 
                 After hours, you may place a payment in our secure drop-box on the east-side door.
                (Note: Dog License payments must be on a separate check from property tax payments)

THE LAST DAY TO PAY TAXES WITHOUT PENALTY IS SEPTEMBER 14th. THE TREASURER WILL BE IN THE OFFICE FROM 9 A.M. - 5 P.M.

As always, partial payments are accepted.
PAYMENTS CAN NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED BY THE LENAWEE COUNTY TREASURER.

Deferment forms must be filed with the Township Treasurer's office before September 14th. Interest at 1% per month or fraction of a month is added after September 14th. If a receipt is needed, a self-addressed and stamped envelope must be included with payment.

Delinquent Sewer Balances Added to Winter Tax Roll as of September 22, 2023
All delinquent Rollin/Woodstock and Posey Lake sewer account balances will be added to the 2023 Winter Property Tax Roll after Friday, Sept 25, 2023. Any payments received after September 25 will be credited to current customer accounts (not removed from the winter tax invoice).
